If you could see your life span in the context of eternity at best it would be the smallest speck on the largest scale. Even if you were to place the life span of all who ever lived end to end the difference would be negligible.
However if you measure all this against the influence that one moment of kindness, love, or understanding or even one moment of hatred, intolerance, indifference or unforgiveness can make in the final destiny of one individual, then eternity could never be big enough to contain its measure
